Suresnes, 03/07/2023 -

LS GROUP is taking part in the XR2Learn project to simplify the creation of human-centred applications in the field of education. The virtual simulation specialist is providing an INTERACT technology solution for applicants.

LS GROUP, a specialist in the development of applications to facilitate the appropriation and use of 3D technologies, is taking part in the XR2Learn project funded by the European Commission. As part of this project, LS GROUP has been selected from among many XR (extended reality) players in Europe to act as a judge alongside 11 other players. The ambition of the project is to provide educational applications based on XR technology.

XR2Learn, an ambitious educational project

The XR2Learn project is funded by the European Commission's Horizon Europe programme. It aims to create XR applications within Europe, centred on people in education. The aim of the project is to provide a one-stop platform, organised as a digital innovation hub, for all players involved in the supply chain for educational applications based on XR technology. The aim is to improve training in manufacturing and distance learning scenarios.

The budget allocated by the European Commission to the various partners will be redistributed to the different applicants to help them develop their solutions.

LS GROUP, judge and technical support

LS GROUP has been selected as one of Europe's leading XR players. The company will meet two needs: judging and technical support, by providing an INTERACT technological solution that candidates can use to create their projects.

The company, which specialises in developing applications that make it easier to adopt and use 3D technologies, will also be passing on its expertise in XR and VR, as well as providing training.

A Europe-wide call for applications

The project is run by CNIT, based in Italy, and is aimed at SMEs that have been in business for 1 year, public or private training providers and consortia of 3 companies, if one of them is an SME.

At the end of the project, around ten candidates will be selected and will be able to benefit from the following advantages:

  • From €150,000 to €300,000 per sub-project,

  • Business plan development and investment readiness support,
