In order to enhance the user experience, we regularly update our products. Today we are excited to announce the release of INTERACT, a Unity plugin that allows you to create industrial simulations in VR.
In addition to the bug fixes made to the plugin, let's discover some new features in this September update.
Cables can now perform auto-collisions
INTERACT can help you simulate cables using physical properties. We use a beam finite element model to process flexible cables. We've added a feature that allows beams to perform collisions.
Add cylindrical and planar kinematics joints
These joints offer increased flexibility for simulating complex connections.
Finger and full body tracking thanks to Manus and Vive trackers
The mannequin is now equipped with high-performance sensors to improve motion capture. It can be combined with Manus gloves.
Many features and fixes have been implemented in this new version and it would be impossible to list them all in this article. If you need more detailed information on the release, check our changelog in the documentation.
