Case study : How does ITER use INTERACT to study the feasibility and safety of its projects
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of ITER, where nuclear fusion is becoming a reality thanks to INTERACT's powerful analysis solution, and go behind the scenes of this technological feat that is opening up new prospects for the future of clean energy.
Download our exclusive case study to learn all about how INTERACT is revolutionising nuclear research and ensuring the feasibility and safety of ITER projects.
THE COMPANY
ITER, an acronym for "International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor", is an international organisation with seven members: China, the European Union, India, Japan, Korea, Russia and the United States.
Goal
The ITER teams needed to be able to validate
the accessibility and ergonomics of their fusion
reaction tests and designs in a virtual environment.
One of the major problems facing the ITER teams is the accessibility of certain controlled zones. As the machine is still in the design phase, it is difficult for the teams to carry out tests there. That's where virtual reality comes in!
Obstacle
Results
In this study, you will discover how the teams succeeded in making considerable savings in terms of time, finance and security.
We use INTERACT for accessibility studies to improve TBM's component designs.
